Job title: Security Officer
Job description: At Samsic we are here to help you get into the Security Industry by putting you through your SIA training course, all we will ask is for you to be committed, enthusiastic, dedicated & vigilant.
The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional security service to Samsic UK Security’s clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of Customer Service; presenting at all times a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence.
As a Security Officer you will work the below shift pattern:
Monday and Tuesday Night from 01:00-08:00 7 hour shifts.
Saturday and Sunday Night from 20:00-08:00 12 hour shifts.
· Pay Rate: £12.00+ Overtime Available
· Contracted Hours: 38 hours per week.
· Employee Status: Permanent/ Full Time

Duties:
- To “meet and greet” members of the public using the site answering any enquiries
- Answer all enquiries courteously and professionally
- Be able to manage all systems within the security control base.
- Ensure a vigilant, professional presence.
- Be able to use technology to research and answer patrons’ questions
- Produce accurate reports as and when needed
- Be an effective liaison between the client and the company Contract Manager
- Be an effective ambassador for Samsic Security and the client
- Be an effective ambassador for Security
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Previous Security experience is preferred but not required
- Have an unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months
- Be fluent in spoken and written English
- Have a five-year checkable history
- Current SIA License – Door Supervisor or Security Guarding is ideal but we can put you through the SIA training course.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, pleasant manner, approachable, clearly spoken
- Excellent customer care skills
- Have a good knowledge of Health & Safety
- Possesses computer literacy of at least a competent level
- Demonstrates competent numeracy and literacy skills for following instructions and preparing reports
- Demonstrates good observation skills
- Demonstrates a flexible attitude to changing working hours and patterns
