Location: Hemel Hempstead, HP1 1DX
Salary: £12.57 per hour

Working: 4 On 2 Off, average 45 hours per week

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Deputy Soft Services Manager who will work at our client’s premises.

We require candidates to be SIA Licenced – Door Supervision Licence.

Responsibilities of the Deputy Soft Services Manager:

  • Daily, weekly, monthly & periodic tasks undertaken by the frontline teams (Security, cleaning & carparks)
  • Audits & regular inspections of all areas & services of the site including measurement & rectification of any issues & actions. Stock management including use, storage, ordering etc.
  • Audits & regular inspections of all in scope machinery & equipment including rectification of any faults
  • Fire & First aid including evacuation, monitoring, testing. HSQE including COSHH, manual handling & Risk Assessment and Assignment instructions. Completion of all necessary documentation.
  • Take Ownership of On-site Patrol Management System (Track force), Compliance, CCTV systems.
  • Team rotas & related procedures for timekeeping, absences, holiday, sickness & payroll
  • HR processes including investigations, disciplinary, grievances, attendance & welfare, return to work etc.
  • To ensure that the Control Room is operated in accordance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation.
  • To ensure the correct procedures are adhered to with all the contractors coming on site

Requirements of the Deputy Soft Services Manager:

  • Experience in a similar role & service offering
  • Demonstrates Integrity, fairness, respect, honesty, passion, professionalism & a positive can-do attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & organisation skills Leads by example
  • Responds positively to change, driving change through managing others
  • The ability to listen & understand the needs of a client, company & team members & adapt the service offering accordingly
  • Strong commercial & financial skills with experience in managing budgets & delivering targets
  • Self-motivated & driven with the ability to work in pressurised commercial/retail & customer facing environments
